  1. This is so sweet. Thank you for sharing. Protective Mom’s rock! Reminds me of days when my teen daughter was little and how special it has truly been for me to have been her Mom during those years, even though her father was abusive toward me and was modeling disrespect toward me subtly all those years. She is a blessing to me today, even though I do not live with her, and my heart aches to be with her every day. I am praying that things turn around and that she will soon come to live with me full time. He is constantly abusing me by hurting her, and it breaks my heart. She is a wreck half the time. There should have been a way for me to prove his non-physical abuse and get custody of her.

    Thank you Lundy and Janice for this blog and for all you do for us Moms. I am reading the book When Dad Hurts Mom and I am so blessed by the wisdom, kindness, and support I receive as I read this wonderful book! Thank you for putting a name to all I am going through and for the knowledge on how to most effectively deal with my disordered, manipulative, cruel EX. I thank God for you.
